The Intern Program is one of the most important and vital areas of ministry at The Journey. We believe God has called us to develop and invest in future leaders, so we have created an intern program that allows us to do just that. We have a number of interns that participate as partners in ministry with staff each year. Interns are equipped to be leaders in the local church and receive practical ministry experience leading and serving in various ministries at The Journey. They are mentored as they serve in the church and process whether or not God has called them to full-time ministry. Internships help The Journey accomplish our ministry as a local church and also serve as an avenue to assess, develop and prepare future leaders. The Journey defines a successful internship as one that will be used by God to accomplish both ministry through the intern, and greater maturity in the intern.
