Kim enjoys her work as the Hanley Road Campus Administrator, mainly because she gets to work with some gifted and talented people all making an effort to be a part of what God is doing in and through The Journey. Her passion is to make sure communication happens and she thrives on creating organization and systems out of chaos. She appreciates the cut and thrust of the daily life of the church and views it for what it is; God’s channel to reach His world. Kim has brought her skills and diligent work ethic from the world of small business ownership. She and her husband, Rusty, have worked together in both business and now in helping to lead in the church at the Hanley Road Campus. Her husband is most pleased to delegate all the hard work to her!

Kim is also known as Kimette, to those closest to her. She fully embraces her identity as “Mimi” to her 3 glorious grand-children. During her years at The Journey, she has embraced new friendships, new theology, new assignments, new styles, new culture and has been known to throw a great party! Kimette proclaims “when is the last time you did something for the first time” and she continues to embrace “newness”. She has been mentored and has been blessed to serve as a mentor to others.
