Beginning this month the IRS will begin sending "economic stimulus payments" to a 100 million or so of us hard working Americans. In order to get paid you had to have produced a valid Social Security number, made at least $3,000 of income and filed a 2007 federal tax return. If you are eligible, you will receive up to $600 ($1,200 for married couples), and parents will receive an additional $300 for each eligible child younger than 17.
