Acts 29 Midwest Regional Quarterly
March 2, 2010
Registration is now open!
Join us on March 2 as pastor, teacher and author Terry Virgo at the Act 29 Midwest Regional Quarterly. Terry is recognized globally as gifted communicator on prayer and worship. He is based at Church of Christ the King, Brighton, UK and is the founder of Newfrontiers, a worldwide family of churches together on a mission to establish the kingdom of God by restoring the church, making disciples, training leaders and planting churches. He and his team serve nearly 500 churches worldwide.
Session 1: PREVAILING PRAYER
We are told that Elijah was a man ‘just like us’. He certainly doesn’t look like us but he is an outstanding example of prevailing prayer, and teaches us secrets that we do well to take on board so that we might become far more effective. James tells us in his epistle that we can learn from this man.
Session 2: WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH
Jesus told the woman at the well that God is seeking worshippers. Has he found one in you? Worship needs to be in line with truth and inspired by the activity of the Spirit leading to encounter with the presence of God. Are you a worshipper and do you lead your people into worship – or is that simply the job of the musicians?
