Announcements

Mission: St. Louis is collecting school supplies to help ensure that students at Adam's Elementary start the year with the materials they need to be successful! Can you help them start the year off right? Bins will be located in the lobby on August 14 and 15 and August 20 and 21. A list of supplies is available online at www.missionstl.org and at Connection Point.

On-line Giving: Please take a moment to consider a new technology for giving at The Journey. We have set up an option that allows you to set up one-time or recurring gifts via e-check or credit card. To learn more, please visit The City or email giving@journeyon.net.

Upcoming Events

The Old Fashioned Potluck is finally here! Don't forget on Sunday, August 1, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, to bring your favorite potluck recipes, lawn chairs, and blankets to the Gurney Picnic Site in Tower Grove Park. The Journey will be providing meat, paper products, and fun for kids and adults. Please RSVP for this event. Can't wait to see you all there!

Baptism Event: Sunday, August 29, 2010. Are you interested in being baptized? At The Journey we baptize with water as an outward representation of an inward change. Baptism signifies our union with Jesus Christ. If you would like more information on The Journey's positions regarding baptism or would like to sign up to be baptized, please visit the Baptism topic posted on the Tower Grove Group on The City.

The Luminary Center for the Arts will be hosting FORM, a design show featuring some of the best furniture designs, architecture, and household items from around the country.
