After the evening service we offer coffee, snacks and provide an opportunity to connect with friends and meet new people. Volunteers are needed to help set up/clean up, serve and greet people.

College Ministry
Here at The Journey, we believe that the university is a vital component of life. Through the Hanley Road Campus, we desire college students to learn what the Bible teaches and put it into practice within our everyday lives. Both correct teaching and living are important. This means that the Gospel must not only be grasped, but also embodied as we interact with others, study on campus, and pursue our passions.

We have a Connect Group starting on Tuesday, March 2, 2010!
A Hanley Road Connect Group is a welcoming community for people who are new to The Journey or have missed Community Group sign ups. They gather in a home weekly for the purpose of meeting new people, finding out more about The Journey, discussing the previous week sermon, and having fun and food!

The Journey offers three classes to equip people on their spiritual journey. Our Gospel Class, which is our pathway to membership, is currently in session. We will update this page when our next session starts.

Volunteers help various ministry leaders orchestrate well organized and thoughtful events, classes and forums.

Journey Kids
Journey Kids would love to have you serve alongside us as we serve the children in our community by sharing the Gospel with them in word and in deed. Because we have many children in attendance there are a number of needs at Journey Kids. We have volunteer opportunities such as classroom assistants and classroom teachers.

At Journey Kids we want kids to know and love God. We do this in two ways. First, we partner with parents to ensure they have the tools they need to help their children grow in their understanding of God and His love for them. Second, we help children love God by creating a positive worship and learning environment at Journey Kids.

Midrash is a Hebrew term referring to commentary or discussion on spirital matters. Midrash at The Journey creates open spaces for giving and receiving commentary on important matters in our local and national culture.
