Tuesday night is my favorite night of the week. It is a family gathering, though not the kind you may be thinking of.
I was talking to some girls the other night about the weirdness of friendships as an adult. Before "growing up" it was easy to make and maintain friendships because we had a place (school) where we were able to make friends naturally.

Author, strategic thinker and movement leader, Alan Hirsch will be speaking at our next Acts29 Midwest Region Quarterly, Tuesday, August 17, 2010. Alan brings a wealth of insight and experience as a global leader and movement shaper calling the Church back to its roots as a Community on Mission.
This summer the Journey will be attending St. Louis Family Camp. The dates are July 16-19 and will be located at the Lake of the Ozarks at the Windermere Conference Center. This is going to be a time that families can spend with each other and learn great principles about having a Christ-centered family, all while stealing a little family bonding time on the lake!

With those words, my friend put a cd into my car stereo and out came an instant favorite. It was a song called "And" by a band called Waterdeep. That was 1997, and I've been listening to them ever since.
