On Friday, February 12 at 7 PM, The Journey’s four campuses will be uniting for an all-church evening of corporate worship. We will meet together at the Tower Grove Campus for an extended time of shared prayer, thanksgiving, confession, and song.
“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him… Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” – James 5:13-14, 16.
As believers, we are called to worship Jesus Christ together amidst a wide spectrum of life-circumstances. By God’s grace, there are many times of celebration and thanksgiving. However, in our fallen world, there are also times of suffering, pain, and sinful disobedience. So, we gather to pray and listen, to cry out, to bear the burdens of one another, to sing, and to nurture each other’s faith. Together, we proclaim that Jesus Christ is our comfort, our hope, and our powerful Savior. Please join us on February 12 as we unite to seek our God through prayer and praise Him through song.
