Questions

  • What is your favorite bible verse?
Romans 8:28-39. "This verse sums up God's sacrifice for believers, Jesus redemption of all things we experience in life, and gives followers of Christ assurance the God of creation is ultimately in control to work out perfect justice and mercy." Psalm 23. "In the maddening seasons we all go through in life this psalm paints a picture of how God is always with us."
  • What is following Jesus like these days?
For me it is trying to constantly let faith drive my life rather than religion. That means I try not to give or accept platitudes about the intersection of faith and life. In all of life Jesus is the answer but we have a lot of questions that are unanswered and I have to be honest about that.
  • How long have you been at The Journey?
    3.5 years
  • What ministry are you involved in?
I am involved with Mission: St. Louis, Community Groups, a business operations team, and the executive elder team.
