What is following Jesus like these days?
It's a constant battle to trust God's goodness and love His sovereignty. I'm just starting to believe for real that God delights in me because of Jesus, and that the point of life is to delight in Him like He does in me. Also, I'm learning how little I focus on the cross, and how much I need to. I've got a lot to learn, but God is gracious and I know He's doing more than I can even see.How long have you been at The Journey?
My family started coming to the Journey in 2006, I think. Now we're out at the Metro East campus, which is more my speed than Tower Grove because there's corn fields around, and I'm still kind of a country boy at heart. What ministry are you involved in?
My official task is to make sure the Sunday service happens and runs smoothly, and my favorite part is getting to do life with the men at our campus. God has given us some amazing young guys, and it's so cool to do life together and see each other get the gospel more and more.
