Times and Classrooms

TIMES:

Infants through 1st grade: classrooms open 15 minutes before services begin.

2nd through 5th grade: classroom opens when children are dismissed from the church service after praise and worship.

CLASSROOMS:

JKWC -SproutsSprouts Room: Stationary babies.
Our leaders take time to pray over each baby individually; as well as love on the babies interacting with them and caring for them as parents instruct. If supplied, we will feed babies infant formula or milk at the parents request. This is the only room we permit dairy products.

 

Discovery Page PhotoDiscovery Room: Crawlers & Walkers.
In this room, our leaders take time to pray over each child individually; as well as play, interact, read stories and sing songs with the children "on the go". If supplied, we will feed crawlers infant formula or milk at the parent's request - but the child will be brought to another room for the feeding.

 

JKWC -Explorer, Adventurer, VoyagerExplorer, Adventurer, and Voyager Rooms: Toddlers and Preschoolers.
In these rooms, we provide an age-appropriate gospel-centered lesson, a time of praise and worship where children worship God using their bodies and voices, various sorts of play and creative activity, and a snack time.

 

JKWC -BasecampBase Camp #1 & #2: Pre-kindergarten through 1st grade
In these rooms, we provide an age-appropriate gospel-centered lesson, a time of praise and worship where children worship God using their bodies and voices, various sorts of play and creative activity, and a snack time.

 

CLASSROOM: 2nd through 5th grade

JKWC -Cave

The Cave: 2nd through 5th grade.
These children begin their time by attending the service with their parents for praise & worship. They are then dismissed to the small auditorium, where they experience additional praise and worship and an age appropriate gospel message as a large group. They also experience a small group time where they respond to the message they have heard and connect with one another.

Our 2nd through 5th grade are currently being taught by a very talented group of leaders who develop and write age appropriate curriculum based on sermon series at The Journey.
