“Be hospitable to one another without complaint. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God… whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever.” (1 Peter 4:9)

The Special Services Unit is a background presence available to respond to the various needs of The Journey so that worship services may be kept sacred for all in attendance.
We watch over the members of the congregation, our children, and assets as well as provide initial emergency services including basic medical care. We also represent The Journey by acting as a liaison between the church and the community during services in order to echo Godʼs positive influence in the City of St. Louis.

The Weekend Team volunteers help keep the sanctuary clean and tidy. They care for and maintain the grounds outside on a Friday evening or Saturday morning so that our church is ready to welcome guests and attenders on Saturday evening and Sunday morning.

Journey Kids would love to have you serve alongside us as we serve the children in our community by sharing the gospel with them in word and in deed. Because we have many children in attendance there are a number of opportunities at Journey Kids. We have volunteer opportunities such as greeters, worship leaders, classroom assistants and teachers.

Every weekend, the group of talented baristas known as the Coffee Team supply the people of our campus with their much needed coffee-fix at the Saturday night and Sunday morning services.
We’re looking for new volunteers to help serve at all of our service times. If you love coffee and have a desire to serve the people of our campus by helping them go into worship alert and energized, sign up for our team. No previous experience is necessary, we’ll teach you what you need to know.
