Each week, teams of volunteers transform the auditorium of Missouri Baptist University into The Journey West County where we welcome new visitors, hold a worship service, and have classes for Journey Kids. This is a great place to serve and a great way to get to know others who call this campus their church home.
Set Up and Tear Down.
Every week people are needed behind the scenes helping with set up and tear down in two key areas:

We believe when Jesus said, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God,“ (Mark 10:14) that he was expressing his desire for children to be engaged with the gospel in ways they can understand and live out … and Journey Kids West County (JKWC) is committed to partnering with parents to do just that! If you’re a parent, or want to know more about our Journey Kids ministry, you can find that here .

The WC Worship Ministry Team at The Journey is made up of talented musicians that play in regular rotation at Sunday services. We believe that God created music as a powerful expression of our worship of him, and we strive to structure the musical parts of our service so that he, not the music, is central.
