Who We Are

The Journey is a diverse community of individuals who have abandoned the notion that life can and should be lived in isolation. We express ourselves uniquely and are united by our relationship with Christ.

The Journey is not a 'church' the way our society defines it. Church is not something we "do." Church is something we are. We are not a group of persons who is merely united by similar interests and activities.  We are a family with members of all ages and backgrounds. In this family there are punk rockers, grandmothers, construction workers, stay-at-home moms, students, and professionals. We are a family that strongly believes that God is crazy in love with people. Therefore, while we are a close-knit family, we are always interested in new family members who would be a part of a community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others and transform the world by serving our city as we think Christ would.
